Eat & Drink Restaurant & Cafeteria - Al Satwa

Today's restaurant you might have seen on many places, it have 20 different outlets in Dubai. It serves Arabian, Chinese, Indian, Middle Eastern, Fast Food, Healthy drinks and Juices. Well, I'm talking about Eat & Drink Restaurant which serves delicious food at very affordable price.

I have been having Malbari Parathas from here as a take away and they never disappointed me. I decided to Dine in here to try out their food. I visited their Al Satwa outlet which have different room for family. It was quiet full on family side and was surprised to see the rush. I love the menu's when there are so many pictures which depicts their food, decision making is easier.

The staff is active and service is fast. The restaurant have very old furniture and nothing fancy. It is very basic and have only things which are needed by the restaurants.

What We Tried There:

  • Titanic Juice
  • Lipton Tea
This might sound weird but I love Tea as much as I love coffee. We started having Lipton Tea with Poratta by the time rest of the thing arrive. It is my all time favorite combo of tea and poratta. Do you also love tea with porotta!?

Next arrived Chicken Kurma, it had semi thick consistency. I love the flavors as because it balanced the spices very nicely. The portion served was enough for three people.

Kanthari Chicken was unavoidable, it was appealing in the picture it self I had to order. It is very spicy which will give you the buzz. This was my favorite dish,  #MustHave if you love spicy food. I loved it so much that I also took it as a parcel.

Next was Chilli Chicken, this was not spicy as I expected. It was medium spicy and the quantity served was great.

For drinks I tried their Titanic Juice, it had 50-50 of Mango Strawberry Juice and Vanilla Icecream with Cashew Nuts. I totally loved this drink. I #Highly Recommend you to try their Juices because they have huge collection and it won't disappoint you. They are very healthy and made freshly.

Overall I didn't expect to enjoy the meal so much. They are very much affordable and serve good portion of food. Good place to satisfy your cravings and taste buds. I'm definitely gonna visit this place again.

Lazfan Cafe - Emarati Hospitality

Being a food lover and staying in Dubai for so long I really wanted to try out Emarati food. I was lucky for getting an invite from Lazfan Cafe.


Lazfan Cafe is an Emarati restaurant in town which is located in Satwa. This cafe is tucked inside the residential building but with the help of google maps it can be found out easily. It has an indoor as well as outdoor seating area. The decor of the cafe have an ancient evolution of Dubai. The colors, seashells, photos everything have its own story. The ambiance is very relaxed and cozy.

The owner of the restaurant cooks the dishes by herself and then shows it to her chefs, she says being a good chef at home it was her kids desire to see her having her own restaurant. And they are absolutely right about it. To be honest for every bite I just said "Subhan Allah", the food was delicious. Even though we were full we just wanted more.


They serve authentic Emarati food, desserts and drinks with also some other fast food like pasta, pizza, burgers and much more.

As we were given menu I directly checked out their beverages and the picture which attracted me was Lemon with Mint Juice. It was very refreshing and flavorful.

And my hubby ordered for Caramel Frappe which was mixture of vanilla ice cream, coffee and caramel topped with lots of whipped cream. I #HighlyRecommend both the drinks.

They have separate page for their signature dishes and the dishes served are the exact replica of the pictures shown in the menu. We started our meal from their signature dish Chebab. It is the Emarati style pancakes which is served with sour cream and date syrup. It was really tasty and was different from the pancakes that I have eaten till now, definitely a #MustTry dish.

Next signature dish was Omlait, I liked the way they named it differently. It had onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes and cheddar cheese, served with Emarati bread. It felt very homely and was served hot.

As they had lot of international options in the menu to choose from I then chose Alfredo Penne Pasta. I must say this pasta was one of the best pasta I ever ate. It was served hot, was very cheesy and juicy with chicken and other veggies. Just the way I love it. It is a #MUSTTRY pasta, just have it once and you will ask for more.

Next we called for Chicken Fellet Sandwich, stuffing is done in Emarati bread with grilled chicken and is served along with fries. It is freshly made and very fulfilling. It is enough for one person who is on the go.

Next we called for Pizza Chicken, it looked very simple but the pizza sauce, cheese and chicken combination of all these took it to another level of taste. I #HighlyRecommend this, it have unique taste and flavors that you don't wanna miss it.

Lastly for meal we called for very simple dish but can be difficult to make them crispy i.e Chicken Strips, definitely a good fast food item and served with fries.

For desserts we had Legaimat, it is sweet flour fluffy balls with date syrup and garnished with sesame seeds. Mostly you can get it during Ramadan but you can have it for entire year now. It was very light and yet very delicious.

Lastly I ordered for White Mocha Frappe which had a vanilla ice cream with coffee, blended to perfection and topped with whipped cream.

The prices are very much worthy for the quantity and the quality of food. Overall my experience was amazing and definitely a family restaurant.

Grand Barbeque Buffet Restaurant

Grand Barbeque Buffet Restaurant is the biggest buffet restaurant which serves authentic Indian and Asian cuisines at very Easy on Pocket budget.
I have passed through this restaurant so many times and always wanted to visit, luckily I was invited to experience their lavish buffet spread. From outside one might just feel it is just like another typical restaurant but as soon as you enter you will be stunned with the ambiance. Everything from seating arrangement to table decor, lights and music just seems flawless. Staff is really friendly and hospitality is remarkable.
