TGI Fridays at Jumeirah
I have wanting to visit TGI Fridays for the longest time. Whenever we went to Jumeirah, I could see FRIDAYS in bold and wanted to hop into the restaurant. Finally I got a chance to indulge in yummy American, Italian food.
TGIF have great wall art which creates Mexican ambiance, fun music plays in the background. They have different seating arrangement from private tables to fun seating. To find TGIF is definitely not a hassle because you can spot it easily as you pass by.
What We Tried There:
We tried their New Addition Grilled Chicken Mexi Bowl served with pilaf rice, crispy bacon, roasted corn, black beans, cherry tomatoes. You have other option to choose between either Sirloin, Salmon, Shrimp or chicken. It had variety of flavors in one plate and good quantity is served for the price. Price will change depending on what you choose in protein whether it is seafood, meat or Chicken.
I love Pasta, it is one of my favorite items. This is again a New Addition to TGIF menu, Texas Cannelloni. This are in cylindrical in shape stuffed with chicken, pico de gallo and cheese, topped with cream. It taste yum as soon as it is served, it satisfied all of my taste buds; but when it got cold, the cannelloni became hard which made it difficult to cut and everything became a mess. If you guys wanna try it out, eat it before it gets cold.
Lastly in mains we had Wicked Chicken, honestly I ordered it because of it's name. It is two Cajun spiced chicken breast served with Cajun cream sauce. Along which they also serve Spanish rice and roasted corn cobs which I replaced with Ultimate Mac & Cheese and Crispy Seasoned Fries. This dish was disappointing, one of the chicken breast was burnt and Mac & Cheese was bland no taste at all, it definitely wasn't the ultimate.
Lastly for dessert, we had Brownie Obsession. Warm brownie is covered with chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream and nuts. It is almost like molten lava cake but only lava missing in it. It was pure divine and perfect end for our meal., you guys #MustTry this
Overall I had a good time, the quantity served is good but it is little expensive. The ambience and service is great, everything is done fast.
Next time When I visit I'm gonna try their Shareable Platters which have so many things which I haven't tried yet.
