Food Food Food, Oh my God !!!
When it comes to food I really forget everything. Everything depends on the food and the taste and this time its not Punjabi. I was all set to experiment new type of food and cuisines, for me I have three main factors and they are Presentation, Taste and Environment. I wanted to try out something new, was going through list of restaurants and this name caught my eyes, it's Grub Shack. As the restaurant origins from Goa, yes Goa this place is very much famous for vacations & delicious food. So decided to visit and give a try.
This restaurant has been set-up and run by two passionate foodies Mario & Gemma Mascarenhas. The dishes in the menu are personally handpicked by them and is what they eat regularly at home. I guess that is the secret of their cooking skills they serve what they eat, keeping it simple yet delicious. This dishes are mainly from Bombay to Goa.

The location is easy to find. They had classic, antique Portuguese interiors and modern seating arrangements, indoor and outdoor. The service is very good, staff is fully aware of the dishes and their taste. And they also keep track of customer and make a point to ask for a feedback after each dish is tasted by customer. There is good jazzy music going on and they also have live music setup.
What We Tried There:

- Stir Fried Drums of Heaven
- Fiery Piri Piri Chicken
- Chicken Cafreal
- Butter Naan
For drinks we ordered Mango & Chili Nojito, it is a lemonade with mint leaves, mango juice and chilies. The tangy and mint flavor was so tasty. I #HighlyRecommended it.
And Caffeinated Choco Popcorn Frappe, it had carmel popcorn, cream, coffee and chocolate. It was yummy.
And Fiery Piri Piri Chicken, it was boneless chicken with exact proportion of spices mixed together. And tasted very good with green chutney which was served with it together. Chicken was just grilled to perfection.
For main course we had Chicken Cafreal and Butter Naan, it was made in chicken cafreal and we asked not to make it spicy as we already had so much spicy. It was really amazing and pure Goan dish. Loved every bite of it. Naan was very soft and nice.
Overall I had great experience and I'm definitely going to visit this place again and try out some seafood.

For starter's we ordered Stir Fried Drums of Heaven, it is really very spicy and It is one of their signature dish. The drumsticks have been marinated well in spices and taste delicious. This was my favorite dish as I love spicy, this made my day. It is #MustHave dish from my side.
