The Market Restaurant & Cafe - Dubai Marina

Exploring the new restaurants especially which provides buffets. Best part of buffets are having a wide variety of dishes and different cuisines. Recently I visited the Hidden Gem in Dubai Marina which is The Market Restaurant & Cafe.

The Market Restaurant have a beautiful view of Dubai Skyline and next to cor-niche through which many yacht and dhow cruises pass by which makes it more scenic. The perfect time to visit this place is now in Winters and you can park your car in the basement which is free for restaurant visiting people. 


 Coming to main point, FOOD. I am going to tell you more about buffet section but they also have A La Carte Menu from which you can choose separately an individual dish. In Buffet Menu they have mix of Indian, Italian, Middle Eastern food. You can also ask the restaurant to alter the few dishes or replace it for your people as you like. 

We started with the Caesar Salad, Beans Salad, Fattoush, Hummus, Olives etc. I liked all the salads were different from taste to type. It was fresh and good start for our dinner.


Then we started with starters which were Lamb Seekh, soft and succulent and Sheesh Tawook, properly grilled maintaining the flavors. In seafood they had Grilled Fish Lemon Butter Sauce, perfectly marinated and loved the sour and buttery taste.



Next there was Italian dishes starting with Beef Lasagne which was delightful. They also had Spaghetti and Sweet Corn.

For all the Desi food lovers they have the Mutton Biryani which was so delicious and meat was perfectly cooked. They also had the Butter Chicken which was good and complimented well with the Naan. 

They had Normal Rice which complimented the Thai Curry. I liked it but couldn't eat more because I was full. 

In Kid's Section they have Mini Pizza in Veg and Chicken, French Fries and Chicken Nuggets. 

Lastly for dessert they have Gulab Jamun, Caramel Pudding, Rice Pudding and few fresh fruits. For drinks there is either fresh Watermelon juice or Canned Mango Juice. In hot beverages they also have Tea and Coffee.

Overall I loved this place bright and fun. The ambiance is fresh and relaxing. The food food is authentic to the cuisine. The Buffet is reasonable as well as if you prefer A La Carte.
Best place to visit with your loved ones and friends or just for meetings, it have a beautiful view as well as good place for kids.

Doner Deli - Dubai Marina

Dubai Marina have beautiful tall buildings and beaches. You can't stop admiring the view with all the yacht and parties happening on the dhow cruises. I was invited by Doner Deli for blogger meet. 

Doner Deli have very great spot to chill out near the lake side. This place is very bright and feels open, it is next to walkway. This is a small joint with fresh and pleasant environment.

What We Tried There:

  • Mango Strawberry Fusion
  • Oreo Shake
  • Tropical Honey
  • Classic Pita
  • Fiery Durum
  • Fiery Fries
We started with their drinks to refresh ourselves in the hot summers. We tried their Mango Strawberry Fusion, which was great and good for quenching. Oreo Shake, I wanted it to be little thick in consistency and it didn't appeal to me much.

Next we tried their Tropical Honey Doner Salad, it had lettuce, walnuts, onions and chicken with honey dressing. I liked the freshness and quite soothing which balances the heaviness of food.

We tried their Classic Pita, the bread is freshly made and stuffed with chicken, red cabbage and lettuce served with three different sauces Garlic Mayo, Yogurt sauce, Deli Tomatoes sauce. The pita is really huge and very fulfilling. It gets difficult to take a whole bite which creates a problem. There is excess of veggies which is not necessary. Well you can customize it as per your like too.

They had new addition to their menu which is Fiery Durum. It had everything same as classic pita but in a roll from and spicy. I didn't find it spicy as they said it need to mentioned specifically for how much spicy we need. Which you can later as per your spice level.

Lastly we also tried their new Fiery Fries, fries were crispy and flaming hot cheetos given seperately, Spiciness comes from cheetos. But still again it wasn't that spicy as my expectations were high. But I liked the flavours of little bit spicy and salty.

Overall it have a great place to hangout and good pita's and durum's. They also have good combinations of salad and doner boxes.
