Omidivan Restaurant - Taste of Goan Food
Being Goan going to beaches in every two days is very common. And trust me there is lot more and many things to explore in Goa other then beaches. Beautiful churches, temples, mosques, Portuguese house, Konkani speaking people, greenery, mountains, rivers, lakes and much more. Even though there are so many various tourist attractions in Goa there is a unique Food (especially seafood), different flavours which mainly involves Portuguese way of cooking.
Omidivan is a new restaurant in Al Karama which opened few months ago, which serves authentic Goan food. Restaurant is little bit interiors but easy to find with Google maps and there is lot of parking in front of the restaurant. The ambience is very calm and spacious. The staff is very energetic and they speak "Konkani" (after long time I spoke konkani and they speak other languages also). They have beautiful pictures hang on wall which depicts beauty of Goa.
What We Tried There:
- Ros Omelette
- Prawns Biryani
- Kingfish Masala

Lastly I had to try something with Kingfish, we decided to try Kingfish Masala. It is spicy but you will love it. It have goan taste just the way how Portuguese cuisine was before in Goa, I #HighlyRecommend to try it out.
