Khyber - DUKES Dubai Oceana, Palm Jumeirah

I love hosting parties for my family because of which I am always looking for great places or restaurants which will make that moment special and unique. While browsing through so many restaurants suddenly I came across a picture which showed the view of Palm Jumeirah, I was amazed and at once I decided to host my party here at Khyber - DUKES Dubai Oceana.

Khyber is brand new restaurant in Dukes Dubai. It has beautiful and fascinating interiors which depicts the classic Indian culture, each picture on the wall has its own story and the brick walls reminded me of the Rajwada Palaces in Rajasthan which gave entire evening as if it is spent in palace. Most amazing thing which you will see is the mesmerizing view from the balconies. I enjoyed the way sky changes its colors and the sunset was amazing,  I suggest all to visit the restaurant before sunset to enjoy the moment. 

Finding Khyber is very easy if you are good in following Google Maps instruction and don't worry they have free valet parking. They have different seating areas from indoor to outdoor, they also have private halls which we had booked. Advantages of an private hall is you have your own privacy without being getting disturbed by anyone or disturbing anyone else, family get-together with kids unintentionally ends up by disturbing other hotel guests. They have great panoramic view of Palm Jumeirah and JBR, telescopes are also available there if you like watching the stars and moon.

Now coming to the main thing, FOOD. We were served with the complimentary pappad, kurkure, chutney, pickle and onions just to pass the time until food arrived.

We started with Chicken Shorba which is soup. It was completely different then what I tried before, It wasn't creamy nor hot sweet type. It was new for my taste buds and I loved it.

For starters we had Khyber Chicken Tikka which was nicely marinated and little spicy. Murg Tikka Abeer which had right amount of spices not making it blend nor spicy perfect for everyone.
Next is #MyFavourite Tangdi Kebab, they were huge in size but only two pieces are served but I didn't mind it because of the amazing taste. Lastly we had Seekh Kabab which were delicious.

For main course we tried their Butter Chicken, it had great mix of Indian spices and had good creamy consistency, we were served with assorted basket of bread among which I liked onion paratha which I liked the most with Butter Chicken. We also tried Murg Methi which had little sweetness but great flavors.

We also had Chicken Biryani and Mutton Biryani which is #MustTry if you are a Biryani lover just like me. My words will not do justice because it was that good.

Lastly for dessert we had Rose Ice Cream which is made by them and #MustHave Rasmalai, the dumpling was soft and perfectly soaked in milk.

Overall it was a great experience from start to end. Beautiful view and delicious food everything was good. The bill will definitely burn the whole in your pockets if you go with huge groups like I did. But it was worth it and I have no regrets.
I am definitely going to visit again to try their set thali menu which looked interesting. You guys must visit with your families.
