Prax's is a restaurant which serves Chinese cuisines all the way from vibrant city of Shanghai. They serve very bold and unique flavors. They allow customers to create their own dish by choosing their own favorite flavors which appeals to them. All ingredients are fresh and everything is freshly made.

Prax's is located on the main highway of Jumeirah. Parking can be little issue because it is on the highway so parking can be full most of the time, but after one round of search we luckily got the parking right in front of the restaurant. It is very small place with limited seating area but they have nicely managed their space with bar stools to dine inside and few tables outside.

After having a quick look at the menu we placed our ordered. Till the time it arrived we spent our time watching the live cooking station. It was really interesting to see how they mix the flavor together. The best part of the cooking was they washed their dishes after cooking each dish. I also noticed that their are more numbers of online deliveries and take away. The packaging of food is very efficient so that there are no fall outs and in the same way dine in customers are also served. The staff is very warm which makes you comfortable.

What We Tried There:
  • Chicken Sui Mai Dimsums
  • Black pepper Chicken
  • Go Freestyle Noodles - Make your own combination
  • Date and Caramel Pudding

After having a good look at the menu for starters we first decided to have Chicken Sui Mai Dimsums. I had to try it out because Chinese cuisine make them delicious and their side dips are impeccable. They were really yummy and has to be one of #MyFavorites. It had 3 dimsums and 2 dips, out of which spicy dip had bold flavors, combination of both dimsum and spicy dip was absolute divine.

For main course we ordered Black Pepper Chicken, it was an egg noodles tossed with fresh vegetables like broccoli, green peppers, cabbage, spring onions mixed with bok choy sauce. It wasn't that spicy but you can get the taste of black pepper just a hint.

Black Pepper Chicken

For second main dish we wanted to mix match the things that is to Go Freestyle. So we chose the Egg noodles as the base and added proteins to it in form of chicken. We added Mixed peppers, corn, mushrooms and roasted cashews with sweet and sour sauce. This combination is amazingly and delicious, I #HighlyRecommend to try this out.

Go Freestyle Noodles

Even though we were full I really couldn't pass through their dessert section because it had some unique flavors which I had never tried. We tried their Date and Caramel Pudding which was definitely absolute divine. It was the perfect end for our meal, it was light on stomach and had perfect amount of sweetness. It is #MustTry and you definitely you will need more after having one cup.
