Rajdhani is known for its King size vegetarian thali and unlimited food. They are mainly specialized in Rajasthani and Gujarati food. They have opened new restaurant in Al Karama; Rajdhani Street which serves mainly the Indian Street Food and North Indian dishes.

This new outlet of Rajdhani Street is completely different in every aspect be it the seating arrangements, ambiance of the restaurant or the flavors of food. The bright colors and different things which is most common like Gola Gaada (Cart) and even the Tiffin Box Cycle which is mostly in metropolitan cities of India, it gives the unique touch. And the Sign board with restaurant name reminds me of the village board.

This place have made the fusion of Indian food with other different country cuisine like Dhokla Pizza, Pav Bhaji in Fondue style etc. Even the menu card have been designed keeping the roads and signals to different places. The presentation of  food is good as well as the customer service.

What We Tried There:

  • Kutchi Dabeli
  • Pav Bhaji Fondue
  • Puchka Bombs
  • Zaitooni Paneer Tikka
  • Bharwan Mushroom Tikka
  • Dahi Ke Kofte
  • Paneer Tikka Paratha
  • Tandoori Laccha Paratha
  • Maharaja Lassi
  • Kulukki Sherbet
  • Hara Pudina Shikanji

Our second drink was Kulukki Sherbet, it had chia seeds, lemon and green chilly. It was more of spicy lemonade which instantly refreshes.
Kulukki Sherbet
Starting with the Quick Bites we first tried the Rajasthani Cheese Mirch Wada, it is a capsicum which is stuffed with mixture of cheese with Indian spices, served with mint chutney, tamarind chutney and Dahi.. I loved the start of my dinner, it was delicious and little spicy but if you can have it with sweet tamarind chutney which will make it even taste better. The quantity is good for the price, if you have small appetite then this can make you full.

Next was #MyFavorite the Kutchi Dabeli, this is my childhood dish which I can have entire of my life, it is my go to comfort food. It is Indian Pav that is stuffed with sweet thick peanut chutney, sev, pomegranate seeds, mint chutney. It is one of the under rated food item but trust me you need to try this out, I #HighlyRecommend you to try this.

From the Street Special Section we told to try the Pav Bhaji Fondue which sound very interesting.
The thick consistency of Bhaji is always warm even after it is served. The small mini pieces of Indian pav is made which is to be dipped in fondue. Pav was soft and buttery which was delish with bhaji, #MustTry.

Next we tried was Puchka Bombs, it is new version of pani puri. This puris are stuffed with cheese and fried nicely, it makes it crispy from outside and soft from inside. It is served with the mint water which is used in pani puri. But we also added a tamarind chutney which made it more tastier, I wish they serve the tamarind chutney with it. This puchkas are huge so be careful if you want to have it in once.

At this point we had to refill our drinks so we opted for Hara Pudina Shikanji which is pure lemonade with chia seeds, it was amazing. Even by the end of our dinner both of us couldn't finish it because firstly the quantity is too much and served in huge cylindrical glass which reminded me of Science Laboratory.

For main tandoor we started with the Zaitooni Paneer Tikka, soft and juicy paneer is stuffed with olives (zaitoon) and marinated nicely little of Indian spices not making it too spicy. The tikka was delicious and perfect as a starter.

Exploring the new restaurants especially which provides buffets. Best part of buffets are having a wide variety of dishes and different cuisines. Recently I visited the Hidden Gem in Dubai Marina which is The Market Restaurant & Cafe.

The Market Restaurant have a beautiful view of Dubai Skyline and next to cor-niche through which many yacht and dhow cruises pass by which makes it more scenic. The perfect time to visit this place is now in Winters and you can park your car in the basement which is free for restaurant visiting people.

Coming to main point, FOOD. I am going to tell you more about buffet section but they also have A La Carte Menu from which you can choose separately an individual dish. In Buffet Menu they have mix of Indian, Italian, Middle Eastern food. You can also ask the restaurant to alter the few dishes or replace it for your people as you like.

We started with the Caesar Salad, Beans Salad, Fattoush, Hummus, Olives etc. I liked all the salads were different from taste to type. It was fresh and good start for our dinner.

Then we started with starters which were Lamb Seekh, soft and succulent and Sheesh Tawook, properly grilled maintaining the flavors. In seafood they had Grilled Fish Lemon Butter Sauce, perfectly marinated and loved the sour and buttery taste.

Next there was Italian dishes starting with Beef Lasagne which was delightful. They also had Spaghetti and Sweet Corn.

For all the Desi food lovers they have the Mutton Biryani which was so delicious and meat was perfectly cooked. They also had the Butter Chicken which was good and complimented well with the Naan

They had Normal Rice which complimented the Thai Curry. I liked it but couldn't eat more because I was full.

In Kid's Section they have Mini Pizza in Veg and Chicken, French Fries and Chicken Nuggets

Lastly for dessert they have Gulab Jamun, Caramel Pudding, Rice Pudding and few fresh fruits. For drinks there is either fresh Watermelon juice or Canned Mango Juice. In hot beverages they also have Tea and Coffee.

Overall I loved this place bright and fun. The ambiance is fresh and relaxing. The food food is authentic to the cuisine. The Buffet is reasonable as well as if you prefer A La Carte.
Best place to visit with your loved ones and friends or just for meetings, it have a beautiful view as well as good place for kids.
