Today somehow again landed up in a Punjabi Restaurant - Patiala House. With name you might feel it will be a big restaurant with fancy decor but it is not. Patiala House is in Al Karama near Day to Day. The name caught my eyes and we entered the restaurant.

It is small but descent. The wall have art of olden days how people used to live back then and have pictures of famous people who contributed to our country India. It gives you feel of Dhaba because of their seating arrangements, it had wired benches, wooden tables, Charpai and stools. Besides decor the staff is very friendly and service is very nice.

 What We Tried There:
  • Lassi
  • Dahi Batata Puri
  • Gobi Manchurian
  • Tangdi Kabab
  • Chicken Biryani
Currently my new favorite drink is Lassi so I tend to order the same. It is normal sweet lassi and quantity is good.
Sweet Lassi

It's been days that I didn't have chaat so ordered Dahi Batata Puri. It was delicious and had good size of puri's. They had generously stuffed the puri and topped with yogurt and chutney's. It was yummy.

For starter's we ordered Gobi Manchurian, it was crispy and had good mixture of spices.

Next was Tangdi Kabab, it was the #DishOfTheDay. Very crispy and medium spicy, served with green chutney.

Lastly we had Chicken Biryani, I have been wanting to try biryani from so long and had expectations. But it didn't make upto my mark. I didn't like the taste of it. Wouldn't recommend this at all.
