Pind Da Dhaba

Now I realized why people from the North India always talk about food whether in movies or in reality.
This days I'm really into Punjabi food and was not able to resist myself as the food is really delicious, only thing you should forget is your diet as the food is heavy yet delightful.
Yesterday again we landed up in Punjabi restaurant Pind Da Dhaba. I had read good reviews about it so thought of giving it a try.
There are two restaurants under one roof and once we enter, we have to walk upstairs. Decoration is pretty good with all Desi style, lights in kettle, charka (wheel) on wall, bandani dupatta and colorful bangles, small cart in the center and muddy walls which gave it ancient look.
There was Rickshaw which they converted into dine, we were lucky to get that table. As it is a bit on height and you become center of attraction, it's a bit odd but at the same time you feel great.
They had olden style benches and wooden tables, and fancy wooden chairs with colorful cushions and throw pillows. I felt staff was not active and are less responsive, it is actually not their mistake as the tables to serve are more and staff's are less.

 What We Tried There:
  • Saffron Lassi
  • Non - Veg Platter
  • Punjabi Kukkad
  • Tandoori Roti
Before meal we were served with Papad, Achar and chutney.

For drinks we picked Saffron Lassi, you get yummy taste of saffron and it had good quantity.

Saffron Lassi

For starter's we ordered Non - Veg Platter, it had variety of Chicken, Mutton, Fish and Prawns. It was served in a sizzler plate. It had Tangdi kabab, Chicken tikka, Fish Tikka, Jhinga tandoori, Mutton seekh kabab, Murg malai tikka. Quantity was great enough for three people. I loved Tangdi kabab and Jhinga tandoori. If you have big group then you #MustTry this.

Non - Veg Platter

For Main course we ordered Punjabi Kukkad and Tandoori Roti
Punjabi Kukkad had boneless chicken and had dal which was in gravy. It was something new to try out and had a very different taste.

Overall I loved the ambiance, quantity and quality both value for price.
