Operation : Falafel - Downtown Dubai

In Dubai one thing which is very common are falafel and Shawerma. It is a one of the best and fast selling items. Every restaurant have a different way and some secret ingredient which makes it different from each restaurant.

Recently I visited Operation : Falafel, this is one of the restaurant which serves purely middle eastern and Arabian food. This place have something for vegetarian and non-vegetarian and equally delicious. Best part of the restaurant is; it is open for 24 Hours and you can enjoy best of shawerma's and falafel's.

They have funky graffiti which depicts the Old Dubai and Modern Dubai, classic old chairs and simple tableware to high ceilings and great lighting which gives warm and friendly feel. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating.

What We Tried There:

Apple Toffee Crunch
Chococake Jar

We started off with their Homemade Shanina, it was sour kind of reminded me of buttermilk. It was refreshing and loved it.

Next is something I wouldn't leave the restaurant without having that is Hummus with Bread. It is a classic dish which you #MustTry.

I love to in corporate healthy salads in meals to balance the diet, we chose Chicken Salad. It had iceberg lettuce, fresh mushrooms, baby spinach and much more. The quantity is great and shareable with three people.

Next is another favorite of mine Shawerma. We tried to different types of shawerma, one is Chicken Shawerma Open Platter and other one is Chicken Shawerma Saj Platter.

Open platter had nicely grilled chicken pieces full of flavor with fries, mayo, olives and jalapenos. Wheres in the Saj Platter, the chicken is rolled in the bread and served along with fries, olives, jalepenos and mayo.

We also tried their Spicy Potato which was very fulfilling and spices were perfect.

For the dessert we tried their Apple Toffee Crunch and Chococake Jar, both had the layers and different in flavors. For me it is difficult to choose between them because I liked both.
